What is Led Zeppelin?
Led Zeppelin was an English rock band formed in 1968 by guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist/keyboardist John Paul Jones, singer Robert Plant, and drummer John Bonham. Together, they created the blueprint for rock and roll for the 1970s, experimenting with Southern and Middle Eastern music, fusing genres, and creating electrifyingly unique songs. They released nine studio albums and one live album, attained chart success, and sold millions of records — to this day they are the second-best-selling band in American history.
